Steven Bentham Director for Howe 23 September - 28 October elections.

My name is Steven Bentham and I've nominated to become your NRMA Director for Howe.

The Howe electorate extends from the Hills Shire to the Central Coast, the Hunter and Mid North Coast. Within this area there are more than 360,000 members who are eligible to vote from the 23rd of September until the 28th of October. Voting can be online or postal. 

I am seeking your vote as a person who's lived and worked in Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and the Upper Hunter for 37 years, and the mining industry for more than 44 years - work that has taken me across Australia and throughout the world.

I understand the value of hard work and the challenges people encounter in terms of shifts, fatigue, time management and making ends meet. I'm also aware of the challenges facing our transport network and the cost of simply getting from A to B. All of which affects your family life.

I promise to represent all those within Howe whether they are miners, nurses, teachers, government or non-government workers, students or retirees.

As a director I will give you and your community a say about the NRMA's direction and be a positive voice for members.
