- Conduct an extensive tour of the establishment to know the gaps/ issues and areas of improvement as well.
- Establish a Food safety Team ( It should be multidisciplinary).
- Training of food safety team about the most recent standard ( E.g ISO 22000: 2018 ) available in the market.
- Assign roles & responsibilities to each Food safety team member to support in the implementation process.
- Conduct a hazard analysis , define the required PRP's identify the CCP's & OPRP's for each process steps.
- Establish Monitoring of all the food safety tools, ( PRP, OPRP, & CCP).
- Establish verification through Internal audits, Lab tests, Customer complaints etc... of PRP, OPRP, CCP in the system.
- Followed by validating them against the accepted standard.
- Define scope , objectives, policies, and procedures of FSMS.
- Train and educate all the food handlers involved in the process as per requirement.
- Document all the activities of FSMS & maintain records of all activities and result.
- Conduct internal audits , GMPs, GHP,s, GLP,s to evaluate the effectiveness.
- Call for Management review meeting for additional support for proper Implementation of FSMS.
