STEPS TO HOLINESS????Part 5?
7.) Perfect faith and trust reveals itself at the point we are prepared to live forever through Christ. It expects God to do what He has promised. We step out in faith and look to the Lord to be our “righteousness and sanctification and redemption—that, as it is written, ‘He who glories, let him glory in the Lord.’ ” (1 Cor. 1:30) This full measure of faith has no struggle in it. It is a sweet, quiet rest in Jesus. Like a sleeping infant dropping its toy on the floor, the soul has quietly relaxed, and released everybody and everything, and peacefully rests in God alone. This faith relies on Jesus to manifest His sanctified life of true righteousness and holiness as an indwelling Presence.
Hence, the highest type of faith is not something we strain to exercise, but rather a supernatural rest in God. For example, it was not until Abraham was “as good as dead,” and had lost all hope in himself, that he could actually receive the promised son. We simply entrust our entire being over to Him and let Him do the work that He has promised to do through the power of His Spirit. Any form of anxiety is a sign of unbelief, and this lack of trusting faith will prevent God from doing what He has promised to do.?

Lord, teach me to walk with God like Henoch did with God (German Hymn)
Lord, teach me to walk with God like Henoch did with God
My Savior by day and by night. to rest in Your blissful presence
carried by Your divine power.
Refrain: Oh glories way, Lord Jesus You Yourself are now overcomer in me You walk and You live, You fight and You conquer Oh worship to You for eternity.
Freed from the sin, freed from the fear, the Father's smile is on me
Oh wonder of grace, my Savior and Lord, You have it accomplished, only You.
Freed from the bonds of earth, crucified to the world
An instrument of the Lord alone, knowing nothing, wanting nothing,
Striving for nothing but only being for His honor alone.
