Stepping Out of the Shadows: My Lifelong Battle with Mental Health and the Promise of AI Therapy

Stepping Out of the Shadows: My Lifelong Battle with Mental Health and the Promise of AI Therapy

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, a time to recognize the importance of mental health and support those who are struggling. As many of you know, my journey toward understanding and managing both addictions and Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) has been transformative, especially since my diagnosis at the age of 50. This experience has profoundly impacted both my personal life and professional career, where my intense interactions often overshadowed my achievements. Despite these challenges, I’ve redirected my energies towards advocacy, creation, and entrepreneurship, particularly in the realm of men’s mental health and addiction recovery. Currently, I am leading an innovative start-up project with Dr. Ellis, aiming to develop what may be the first-ever true Virtual Therapist powered by AI. This venture represents a significant leap forward in providing accessible and effective mental health support to all men in need.

This year, I am once again taking a significant step by participating in the Walk for BPD, organized by Emotions Matter. This event is crucial not only for raising awareness but also for supporting programs that help those affected by BPD. I am reaching out to invite you to support my walk by contributing to this cause. Your donation can make a real difference and help provide vital resources to those in need.

This time, I joined Team Tusiani-Eng. Please help our walk team reach its goal of $3,000 by donating to our team page. To support the walk and contribute to this cause, please click https://givebutter.com/c/WalkforBPD2024/members/paulatusianieng . Every contribution, no matter the size, matters deeply and supports a mission that is incredibly important to me. Your donations will help fund programs and events for those affected by Borderline Personality Disorder. Thank you for all the support you’ve given me over the years. It has been essential in my recovery and advocacy efforts. Let’s make a difference together in the lives of those affected by mental health issues an addictions.

Thank you for your continued support and for helping an amazing organization.

Best regards,
