There is something that has been on my mind, or more in my heart, lately, and I’d like to share it with you.
I feel, nobody could deny people are insanely stressed all the time, even if they claim they are not.
You just have to be in any city during the morning “rush hour” - it’s ridiculous.
It has always appeared absurd to me.
Now, I know this is the point when people start attacking me, that I “don’t understand how certain people just have no choice and have to provide etc etc etc.”
Let’s not open that Pandora’s box. For now. (it’s bs)
You see, I have never lived a “normal” adult life, because just when I was about to enter into it after high school, my near-death experience changed the way I look at life forever.
I like to say that I’ve been given the wake-up call that most people get around their 40s or 50s when they get cancer, a stroke or a heart attack and then -hopefully- wake up and change something about their inauthentic life.
Well, I got that call before I even entered adult life.
I am today specialised in helping (busy) people deal with stress, heal its root cause and consequentially all their stress-related symptoms and suffering. It works very well, but that’s not what I mean.
I’m rather talking about this incessant drive and push behind all of it.
What I see, is people being incessantly stressed, running around like headless chickens, chasing something they likely don’t even know themselves what, needing, wanting, striving, more more more.
And it is never enough.
Doesn't anyone notice this, how nothing is ever enough?
"Not enough" is the real pandemic!
Remember, during Covid when people started to take walks during weekdays and actually spend quality time with their loved ones and realised: “Oh, wow, this is actually really nice”?
There we had a glimpse of hope, but soon after... it’s like nothing has ever happened, and the grind goes on.
Nothing learned. Setzen, sechs!
This dynamic grasps everything - even myself in these past years, as I fell into the trap again.

And I believe that dynamic is:
Capitalism.
Which we have so internalised we do not even realise it.
Internalised capitalism.
- It shows up, for example, in us when we constantly equate our self-worth with what we have done, achieved or produced.
- It shows up when we optimise every.single.fucking.thing in order to do what? Be more productive! (Hello Biohacking and Psychedelic hype)
- It shows up in Silicon Valley-style hustle and grind culture, where companies have to pretend to be “family” so that their “human capital” is more emotionally enticed to hit their OKRs.
- It shows up in a complete and full identification with what we do, instead of who we really are.
Don’t get me wrong, I know how much fun and positively challenging it can be to go for big goals, be a high-achiever and put your energy into creating something of value and impact while making good money doing so.
That's why I love working with successful entrepreneurs as my 1:1 clients so much.
I am by no means a soap-dodging anti-materialist hippie, quite on the contrary.
I do like and know how to enjoy the good life very much.
But, I do question the driving force behind it all, because it can become a trap very fast!
And before you know it, you find yourself just chasing after the higher paycheck to pay extra for the nanny so she can spend more time with the kids so you can spend more time earning more money to pay for the nannies.
You see how absurd that is?
My claim is this:
It is absolutely possible to step out of that mindless game, that blind rat race, this trap of internalised capitalism, and live a life of deep authentic expression and devotion to divine guidance, while AT THE SAME TIME enjoying the perks of a financially abundant, materialistic life, consciously.
These two do not exclude each other.
And I am going to prove that.
Love, Johannes

12 个月Couldn't agree more with you on this. We don't have to live in the system to win. It's the opposite, if anything.
