Giving Tuesday is a favorite movement in our offices. With so much consumerism during the holiday season, it can be hard to keep in mind what matters, like the amazing work so many nonprofits do for local communities and citizens around the globe. I've been working with over 50 students from FAU alongside Professor Ann Root to create the Owls For Good project, which was designed to help more than 20 nonprofits in South Florida. Over the past 4 months the group has worked together to improve each nonprofits’ website, create and optimize their Google Adwords campaigns, create individual Giving Tuesday strategies and create impactful Social Media Marketing plans. One of the central goals was to help the nonprofits raise funds on November 29, 2016 – also known as #GivingTuesday. Below are some of the nonprofits we collaborated with for Owls For Good.
