Step through the Portal to Virtual Reality

A new reality is here - Virtual Reality (VR). I believe VR have the potential to change all of our lives for the better. Step through the VR Portal and you can play, learn, watch, create, shop or connect with your friends in new immersive ways never possible before in the real world.

The minds spins when you can unleash human imagination from the limitations of reality - the impossible is possible in VR - you can have such immersive experiences that create the perception of you being physically present in a non-physical world. 

Using the Vive I have felt "presence" which is a phenomenon enabling people to interact with and feel connected to the world outside their physical bodies via technology. It is a truly mind blowing experience.

I think every one probably can guess how this will change the games industry, but this is only scratching the surface of the potential of VR. Very soon you will build your own house and decorate it in VR before you buy it with all the furniture you like. You will be the featured in the new best selling Hollywood movie (yes, really in it). Your kids will love history and geography in school as they visit ancient Egypt in VR and help build the pyramids.
