There is nothing more frustrating than staining your favorite piece of clothing or (gasp!) your carpeting! Fortunately, I know a few stain-removing hacks that really work.
Here's how to remove a few common stains:
Coffee Stain
Moisten a towel and dip it in baking soda. Gently rub the cloth on the stain.
Lipstick Stain
Dip a cotton ball in rubbing alcohol and gently dab until the stain is lifted.
Deodorant Stain
Lightly rub the deodorant-stained fabric with a dryer sheet.
Oil and Grease Stain
Rub white chalk powder into the stain before washing. The chalk will absorb the grease!
?Ink Stain
Soak ink-stained fabric in milk for 12-24 hours, then rinse and wash as usual.
?Blood Stain
(Please be advised that the following contains graphic material) On fresh bloodstains, apply 3% Hydrogen Peroxide to the stain and rinse with cold water.
Grass Stain
If the grass stain is fresh, soak a sponge in vinegar and dab it onto the stained area until the stain lifts. If it's a dried stain, use vinegar and baking soda to make a paste and scrub it into the fabric prior to washing it.
?Makeup Stain
Rub shaving cream onto the makeup stain until it is removed.
I bet you wished you would have known some of these hacks sooner!
