Step 18: How Do I Get What I Want
Welcome to step 18 of this 21 step course.
There will be times when in creating your goal you encounter delays, frustration, irritation, even panic. Stop doing, stop reacting and quarantine angry thoughts, as any reactive behaviour will only hurt you. The lotus is a balm to that fevered mind. This beautiful flower begins life as a tiny bud below the surface of a pond. It looks like nothing is happening for a long time. When it is quite ready, from the muddy waters, an exquisite blossom emerges into life. This is how manifesting great patience will work with your goal.
Patience isn't just being still and waiting, as it might seem. It is actively creating a gap between your thoughts and actions. A gap between reacting to events, shouting, arguing, ordering etc and calmly formulating considered responses then carrying them out. If you create a state of anxiety and fear, your impatience will diminish you. Holding a life lesson right to the end of it all, takes humility. By being patient you open up to the voice of your core self and you listen. This is the gift hidden inside patience. Then to top it all, here comes your goal, from muddied waters, emerging into life in all its startling magnificence.
In a few days, in Step 19, we'll be looking at how you hot house your goal when you create magical states!
How You Get What You Want is the first in a series of online courses here on LinkedIn and at instagram and facebook.
