Step #1. The Problem.

Every great business starts with identifying a problem. Ours is a massive one. Kids are not as active as they should be. Once you start doing the research, you go down the proverbial rabbit hole and things start to get very depressing, very quickly. The U.S. ranks #1 in the world for childhood obesity.  Health.gov gave us the worst ranking yet when it comes to the amount of kids that get the recommended amount of daily exercise. A D-.  According to the WHO, before Covid 19, we as a world have been entrenched in another global pandemic: Sedentarism. "80% of children 11 to 17 aren't getting enough exercise." (Site)

It just goes on...

The impact of exorbitant screen time for Generation Z and Alpha.

The participation in youth sports steadily dropping over the past 8 years. 

Not suprisingly, all these factors disproportionately affecting low-income households.

So what’s the solution? What’s that ONE THING we as a society can do to make a meaningful impact? Our small but mighty team here at Hive Class have been trying to figure that out...and we think we are onto something.
