As we wrap up the year 2023, we're feeling particularly thankful at Stemuli for the passionate individuals shaping education's future with us.

Our mission is critical: we're addressing a gap where a staggering 77% of 8th graders don't earn post-secondary credentials, potentially forfeiting $1M in lifetime earnings. Our education system isn’t equitably preparing all students for jobs of the future, with just 18% of the K-12 curriculum aligned to workforce needs. Meanwhile, AI and automation are reshaping the workforce, necessitating the re-skilling of 120M workers in the major economies within three years.

Our achievements this year alone underscore our momentum ??:

(January) Expansion: We started the year off with a bang! Through the support of the Yass Prize, we received funding to bring four of the most innovative schools into the metaverse: Global Ed Solutions, High School for Recording Arts, Friendship Schools D.C., and Louisiana Key Academy. ??

Why does this matter? These schools represent learners from Minnesota, Colorado, Louisiana, and D.C and they’re interested in careers in music, technology, gaming and the likes. Demand for AI-powered career pathways is at an all time high.

(March) Future of Dallas: In March of this year, I was the keynote speaker for SMU’s research and innovation week speaking about, “The Future of Dallas: Innovative Pathways to Technology for All.”

I made bold predictions on how SMU could become a catalyst of transforming access and equity to economic opportunity throughout our region building on the success of P-TECH.

Today, SMU, Stemuli and 40 other organizations have propelled Dallas to becoming an EDA Regional Tech Hub with a focus on Semiconductor manufacturing. With my participation on the executive board of the tech hub, we have created a new table in Dallas. One that will reimagine how an ecosystem of education institutions, industry partners, and community based organizations facilitate lifelong learning throughout 29 counties, leveraging Stemuli’s metaverse technology.

(April) Strategic Expansion: We've supercharged our capabilities through a groundbreaking double merger with infinity.careers (acquired) and Oppti (acquired) , as reported by Dallas Innovates, uniting cutting-edge platforms to redefine career education.

(May) Emerging Tech Pioneers: We've boldly taken Georgia's agriculture into the metaverse, creating immersive, engaging learning experiences that push the boundaries of education technology.

(June) Tech Giant Endorsement: Google has awarded us a coveted grant, a vote of confidence in our mission and recognition of our diverse leadership, as celebrated by Dallas News.

(October) Digital Expansion: Our partnership with Evolve Me has launched a career discovery tool, now empowering over 1,000,000 learners with the skills to navigate the job market of tomorrow.

(November) Philanthropic Investment: The Gates Foundation has infused our initiatives with a $1 million grant, bolstering our commitment to elevate black, brown, and low-income learners.

• Personal Accolade: My work and impact have been recognized once more, naming me one of Dallas' most influential leaders in 2024.
• Thought Leadership: With over 61 speaking engagements this year, including high-profile appearances at the Los Angeles Unified School District and Forbes' 30 under 30 Summit, we're leading critical conversations in EdTech.

Together, these achievements underscore our relentless drive and the trust placed in us by industry leaders, educators, and the community, propelling us towards a future where education is dynamic, inclusive, and transformative.
