STEM Education, it's relevance & our role in it

How many of you have heard about STEM Education ?

Have you realized the importance of STEM Education so far? How it will influence our lives as a whole....

STEM education refers to the integrated teaching and learning of the subjects science, technology, engineering and mathematics. STEM education is usually presented through hands-on and relevant real-world learning experiences.

STEM Ed guarantees innovation, development and growth. It is important because it teaches?critical thinking skills and instills a passion for innovation. Beyond the benefit of learning science, technology, engineering, and math, STEM assists in the problem-solving and exploratory learning that fuel?success across a variety of tasks and disciplines

It has become extremely crucial to include STEM education in our curriculum as an integral part. Probably we should focus only on STEM education which stands exclusively for the education focused on Science, Technology Engineering & Mathematics.

Let me share how STEM education is associated with the future Job market. Stem jobs pay very well. STEM jobs pay 99% more than all other jobs. Tech giants are?going to extremes to pay for this scarce talent.

STEM jobs are abundant & growing. It's not like other sector which will once reach a point and stop growing afterwards. It will never stop growing.

STEM and #innovation go hand in hand. AI, Machine Learning & Cyber Security all come under the domain of STEM.

STEM jobs are interesting.?What makes a job interesting? Some would argue money (Did I mention STEM jobs pay well?), while others would say subject matter (Driverless cars don’t build themselves...wait, or do they?).Whichever way you paint it, STEM jobs are among the most interesting in the world.

Well, let me share here that I am getting associated with a Women Centric Organization and they have chosen me to represent STEM Education on national level. I need to develop my team which will include members from all over India... literally all the states & union territories of India. This is great #opportunity for Approx. 100+ passionate Women who are ready to lead their state or UT with respect to actively creating awareness about STEM Education.
