Buckle up as our Science and STEM Academy students take off for an exhilarating journey across the Atlantic!

Fifteen of our Year 10 and 11 students are about to embark on an awe-inspiring adventure in the United States.

Los Angeles: Where Magic Meets Science?First stop: Los Angeles! The City of Angels awaits, and it’s not just about Hollywood glitz. Our students will dive headfirst into a?guided STEM experience?at none other than?Disneyland! Imagine analysing roller coasters, Ferris wheels, and spinning teacups through the lens of physics and engineering. How do these thrilling rides defy gravity? What forces propel them? The answers lie in the magic of science!

Huntsville, Alabama: Astronauts in Training?Next, our intrepid explorers will jet off to Huntsville, a city steeped in space history. Here, they’ll don their spacesuits and immerse themselves in the?Space Camp?experience. Picture simulated moonwalks, simulated zero-gravity training, and mission control simulations. They’ll learn teamwork, problem-solving, and the art of launching rockets.

Bringing Back Cosmic Insights?As our students prepare for this cosmic escapade, their excitement is palpable! They’ll return with minds buzzing, hearts full, and stories to share with the entire Science and STEM Academy community. Whether it’s unraveling the mysteries of gravitational waves or understanding the intricacies of rocket propulsion, these experiences will ignite their passion for science and exploration.
