2nd Annual Steelite Charity Cycle ride from Middleport factory to Llandudno (93 Mile - One day event)
A select group of employees are planning to cycle from our factory in Stoke on Trent to Llandudno to raise funds for it's Giving Something back campaign. None of the team are regular cyclists, with some hardly riding since childhood.
The challenge will take place on the 15th July 2017, leaving Stoke on Trent in the early morning to hopefully arrive in Llandudno with time left for an ice cream before dark!!
It took 7 hours to complete the course last year, with all members of the 7 man team finishing the event - Raising just over £3,000, this year we are aiming for 6 hours and a target fund exceeding last years.
The groups exact number of cyclists is still to be confirmed, but the team has so far signed up 6 members ranging from the 19 year old HR Team Member Sean Sutton to the Group QESH Manager Pat Griffin at 48 years of age.
Please help us to make our efforts make a difference to the local community by donating money via the link below, all proceed are destined to be used for local projects within the Stoke on Trent area.
