STEELCON HSE ENHANCES SAFETY OF EMPLOYEES WORKING AT HEIGHTS
Steelcon HSE has rolled out suspension trauma straps for all workers on leading edge projects, providing with an additional layer of protection that significantly reduces the potential severity of injuries in case of a fall.
Suspension trauma straps are designed to be deployed by a fallen worker and then used as a “step” for the worker to stand on to reduce the pressure the harness leg straps place on the legs. This simple tool can dramatically reduce the chances of tissue damage and also allow more time to ensure the rescue is executed in the safest and most efficient manner.
