I. Storage of steel material

The storage requirements for steel structures should minimize the deformation and corrosion of the steel. When stacking, it is necessary to make the back of the steel section face upwards or outwards as much as possible, which is conducive to drainage. Strict inspection is required before formal warehousing, and only those that pass the inspection can handle the warehousing procedures.

II. Fabrication points of steel structure

1. It must be carried out according to the processing process. When there are hidden welds, they must be welded first before being inspected and qualified;

2. During assembly, small parts should be welded first, and then large parts should be assembled after correction to prevent deformation of the large parts;

3. When assembling parts and passing component inspection, oil stains, dirt, etc. should be removed within a range of 30-50mm from the edge;

4. When assembling molds, it is necessary to consider the pre release of welding shrinkage and processing allowance;

5. When making and processing steel structures, it is required to polish the tightly pressed parts to reach 75% of the contact surface;

6. The processed parts should be numbered, with clear drawing numbers, component numbers, etc. written for easy retrieval;

7. The assembly and welding of plates and steel sections should also be carried out in an orderly manner, such as the concealed parts of components that need to be painted in advance.
