I'm breaking the cycle of the first 3 newsletters to share out a sequence that I wrote that utilizes the 3P methodology, something that I developed in 2021 while CEO at TIDAL.

Necessity breeds innovation.

To scale at breakneck speed is only free of mass friction when you take messaging very seriously.

Quite frankly, outside of Engineering and Product Marketing, I'm not sure that there is anything more critical than messaging.

This same framework adapts to phone scripts extremely well.

So, here goes.

Four email steps that embrace the 3P methodology that drove over $20 million of pipeline that converted $10 million +in sales over the past 18 months.

The 3P Methodology utilizes psychology.

It's storytelling.

"This is what John's life was like, then, John did this, and this is what happened. "

It's so simple, yet the guru's want to make you think that you need to attach your brain to a generator and inject inspiration into your fingertips.

NOTE - I am a CRO. The subject line, "CRO to CRO", works if you are a CRO. so, dig?

Email 1

SUBJ - CRO to CRO {{ contact.firstname }}

Real quick, here for a specific reason.

I work with CRO's who want to drive more revenue via the phone for outbound lead generation.

Phone reluctance is real.

Our team books 96.4% of our meetings on our platform via the phone, we don't rely on LI automation that clogs your inbox.

Now, let's take a look and use Regie.ai 's analyzer. This email alone, as the opener, booked 7 meetings in the past 2 weeks. Not a perfect score due to the masculine tone, but when you are messaging a C-level, you need to sound extremely confident. NOTE, message length is 73 words. I range from 40-100 words, never more, sometimes less.

On to email two.

This is where I use the 2nd P, "Proof", and it's done with a clickable link to a known site such as Crunchbase, LinkedIn, etc. That link should contain unbiased data or information that would help drive proof that you've done this before.

Now, for the flex - the 3rd P, "Persuade." Josh Braun taught me that this is the, "Poke the Bear", technique.

Be careful, do not insult them or come even close.

Rather, use empathy and understanding but DO NOT BE PASSIVE. This is a FIRM call to action to drive the response.

Email 3

SUBJ LINE - "It's time"

John -?

Are you seeing that deal-cycle times are 1.3-1.4x their normal rates???

For my team, that increased by 25%.??

The fix???

Just like this, messaging is carried out via phone, email, and LinkedIn.

Ok, one more.

Email 4 - where we tie it all together. To review, we stated the specific PROBLEM that we solve, we provide PROOF that we've done it before, (prospect will insert themselves into the story if you do this well. If it resonates and triggers pain, they will likely respond and want to meet.

And this, my friend, is the walk away.

SUBJ LINE - "CAC targets"

Well, {{ contact.firstname }}, here we are.

Final ask, do any of these align with your top 2-3 priorities?

- augment existing SDR team by 20% for message testing, (30% immediate OpEx relief)

- maintain CAC targets w/20-30% lower costs day 1

- data sets unilateral sync to your Hubspot or Salesforce CRM, (data is the new currency.)

In closing, I do believe that I am a very good writer. That may sound boastful, but I can assure you it hasn't always been this way.
