STAYING with WHY - continuing the journey when times get tough.

STAYING with WHY - continuing the journey when times get tough.

Without having a defined north star - many leaders and business owners struggle to create a culture, build a leadership team, and truly build momentum within their operation.

In his game changing book "Start with WHY", Simon Sinek breaks down and emphasizes the importance of starting your journey with vision and purpose.

The beginning truly is an extremely important place to stamp out the mission and purpose of an organization. It's here we can carry the momentum and energy of the "honeymoon" phase to create elaborate mission statements.

What happens when you get punched in the face?

At some point in your business ownership journey, you are going to hit some road blocks. You'll get a flat tire. Heck... your tires might just fall off completely.

Vision acts as a guiding light in the darkness as well as a support staff to hold your weight when times get tough and your legs get heavy.

Without having a strong vision to hold on to, you may completely lose the will to fight when things go wrong.

In 2019, four years into my franchise ownership journey, my wife and I lost our daughter - a still birth at 38 weeks into the pregnancy. Nothing could have hit us harder.

Loss can knock you into a darkness that is extremely difficult to come out of.

STAYING with WHY is just as important as starting with WHY because we need to revisit the reasons, the dreams, the goals that we had for ourselves when we first started.

What, if anything has changed since we began on this journey?

Is what was important 5-6 years ago when I started down this path still important today?

Life has a crazy way of dictating what is important today and what should be held as important for tomorrow.

By constantly revisiting your WHY (your vision and the purpose behind embarking on the journey), you will put yourself in a position to assess where you should pivot, and where you need to put your head down and KEEP FIGHTING.

Understanding the WHY behind your business journey is crucial, as highlighted in Simon Sinek's "Start with WHY". Without a clear direction, building a strong culture and leadership team becomes challenging. It's like navigating without a compass. In uncertain times, like when faced with setbacks, staying true to your purpose becomes even more critical. It's about resilience. I've found that integrating a gold IRA into my investment strategy has not only provided financial stability but also reinforced my long-term vision. It's a pivot that aligns with my WHY, securing my future and that of my team, despite market fluctuations. Starting with WHY isn't just about creating mission statements; it's about weathering storms and thriving beyond them. It's the north star that guides decisions whether to pivot or persevere. Embrace your WHY, and watch how it transforms challenges into opportunities for growth. https://learn.augustapreciousmetals.com/gold-IRA-usdtrump-predicts-downfall/?apmtrkr_cid=1696&aff_id=3410&sub_id=XXX
