Staying on track and pushing forward

March Newsletter

I’m excited to be back with you for another month of growth, action, and accountability! We started the year strong, setting bold goals and committing to new habits, but now comes the real challenge: keeping the momentum going.

February and March are often the months when motivation dips, routines slip, and those once exciting resolutions start to feel like a chore. But this is where real progress happens, not in the first spark of inspiration, but in the consistent, daily effort that turns goals into lasting change.

?

This month’s newsletter is all about staying on track and pushing forward, even when the excitement wears off. Here’s what’s inside:

?

  • Quote of the Month – John C.Maxwell

Staying on Track: How to Keep Your Goals Alive Beyond January

?

March is here, and for many, the enthusiasm of New Year's resolutions is already fading. Studies show that while 91% of people set resolutions, a staggering 80% abandon them by mid-February. That means most of us struggle to stay consistent with the habits we committed to just 8 weeks ago. But what if we approached it differently this year?

I set out in January with three key goals: read more, be healthier, and succeed in business, and you know what? I’m actually doing it! I’m already on my third book, making regular gym visits, and pushing myself to grow in ways I never have before. But there’s still room for improvement, and one area I know I need to step up is sales and networking.

I recently had a coaching session with a good friend, Andreas Nest, who challenged me to examine how much time I actually spend on sales. The answer? Not nearly enough. I was focused on developing workshops, refining coaching models, and improving my content, but not on speaking to more people and building the relationships that actually drive business forward.

This made me realise something: success isn’t just about setting goals; it’s about consistently taking action toward them. And one of the best ways to stay on track is to visualise the impact of following through - or not.

Try this:

  • Write down what your life will look like if you don’t stick to your new habits. Will you feel frustrated? Stuck? Disappointed that another year has passed with little progress?
  • Now, write down what your life will look like if you do stick to them. Imagine the confidence, success, and growth you’ll experience by the end of the year.

If you need help structuring your goals and staying accountable, I’ve created a 5-Step Action Plan for Personal and Professional Development that’s helped me stay committed this year. You can access it in the 'Task for you' section below
