Staying in touch using your CRM system to its best advantage

We have spoken about keeping busy by updating our database, reaching out to people we know and offering help within reason and without conditions. This will create a positive habit and place us front of mind of those that matter when we start the journey back to normality. 

The next way to fill in your time productively is to educate yourself on some of the business software that is available out there. For example many of you have a CRM system that works well and if that is the case make sure that you and your team take the time to understand all of the features so that you get the best out of it. What I found in the past is that because everyone was so busy the system was only being partially used and so did not deliver the full benefits that were on offer.

Then again you may be using spreadsheets rather than a proper CRM system so why not take the time to research and test out what is available to you. I have been updating my contacts a few at a time and hope to have it completed by end of April. Have a look at the connections that you have on Linkedin and how they relate to your database, again, something we don’t have time to do in normal circumstances.
