Staying Sane in These Tumultuous Times

The world is a pretty intense place right now. Wars, elections, climate change, fighting, floods, fires, volcanoes erupting, mass shootings, political insanity, racism, hatred, separation, many people leaving the planet...

What's really going on??

Some think it's some kind of apocalypse. It certainly looks like that.?

I think it's something else.

My sense is that as more people are getting conscious, it's causing all the personal and collective unconscious to come oozing out; much like an abscess needs to be lanced to release all the toxins and nasty stuff in order to heal.?

The shadow side of things, which has always been there hidden, below the surface, is now starting to be seen and recognized for all the pain, suffering and limitation it's been causing all along. And people aren't taking it anymore.?

Nor is the earth.


Some people are waking up and demanding change. Others are going crazy and losing it.?

Some are just leaving in one form or another.?

Many of us healers, or light-workers as some may call us, are overwhelmed, exhausted, heavy,?and having?a lot of mysterious aches and pains. Our bodies are aware of what's going on but our minds don't understand it.?

Perhaps what we're evolving into is beyond the limitations of the mind and what it can comprehend.

There are a few tools and suggestions I've been giving for anyone struggling right now.?

First of all, take care of yourself. If you need to go in your cocoon for a while, do it. If you feel that you and your body need a lot of extra sleep or rest, make sure to make space for that. Maybe that's what is required for the great transformation ahead. If you need alone time, give yourself that. Don't push and force yourself to do things if you don't have to. Lay low, keep things simple.

Also please keep working on whatever's coming up for you, your own shadow stuff. This could be lifetimes' worth of trauma; times when you have perpetrated or been the victim of violence, abuse, hatred, natural disasters, political unrest, etc. It could also be looking at limiting beliefs like "I'm not enough," or "I don't deserve to be happy." Be aware of those points of view, consider where they came from, ask yourself if they're actually true. This is a time, more than ever, to let go of all that is no longer serving you.

Additionally, it’s time for all the old structures that aren't working to be dismantled and rebuilt. This process starts on the inside, working on the personal, and moves out into the world, into all the structures and systems we humans have created.?

Chaos is needed right now to allow this change to occur, and it may get quite messy and uncomfortable for a while.

Trust that the Universe/God/Higher Power has your back and that you're?here right now on this planet for a good reason. You need your strength and awareness for the tumultuous times ahead.?

The planet and consciousness need you too, now more than ever.
