Staying positive during the 'Lock Down'

In this period of lock down world over due to the threat of spread of #covid 19, it is imperative that all of us are stuck at home with no regular movement possible outside homes. When we are restricted to do something by law or by force it is a normal tendency of the common people is to resist and rebel against the rules and regulations and they keep breaking the law and rules by whatever means and feel that they are winning against the law.

But bear in mind that in such times when we are required to stay at home and work from home office then it is better to accept the reality for the better future of self and the family as well as the rest of the world. We should wake up at our regular times and do workouts at home. If you know how to do yoga it is fine otherwise we can learn yoga online from so many websites and then start practising it. Initially it may look bit difficult but slowly you will get used to it and the body will start enjoying the 'yogasanas' and the meditation is also of very high importance in keeping your mind calm and provide oxygen to your brain and heart in ample supply. This morning session of yoga and meditation works wonders in keeping our energy levels pretty high throughout the day which I can vouch for from my own experience.

If we work as per office time table even while working from home it always helps us whenever the office opens we are used to the same routine and timings for the body clock. Except for the time you spend in commuting to office everyday we shall keep the clock running as per the normal office schedule. Working at your desk from say 9 am and taking a coffee break or tea break at 11 and taking a stroll down the balcony or terrace if you have one will freshen up your mind and body. Then again we take a lunch break at 1 or 1.30 as the case may be and then resume working again at 2 pm instead of taking it easy and never eat your lunch in front of TV but remain at the dining table or dining area and resume working on your computer or making calls as you do regularly from office. Tea break at 4 pm will again give you a chance to strtech your legs and the body and then when you finish working time at 5 or 530 then you close the computer and take a wash and then change into your home clothes for feeling at home.

Evening time you may like to spend with your kids playing with them games at home or helping out your spouse in making the dinner or laying the table or just cleaning up the house or preparing bed for your children and helping them with their reading and studies.

Watching TV or being on social media should be restricted only for an hour in the morning and the evening otherwise we become addicted to spend more and more time there and wasting the time instead of spending it properly. Watching daily soaps or movies is your choice but you must watch the daily news and be updated with the happenings in the world and keep abreast of the current topics being discussed live since there are no newspapers you can get in hard copies although soft copies are available for reading.

Last but not the least keep being positive all the time when your are bound at home and keep all the family members in good spirits. Tell every one that this temporary period is going to give us lot of time with each other which normally we get only on weekends and holidays. Enjoy this period of lock down in opening the doors and windows of our minds of the family and stay positive and keep everyone happy and avoid any conflicts and fights at home. Because when you come out of the lock down you can go to office with a smiling face.

Very nicely written.. ??KISHORE ??SHINTRE?? -??The ?Wise ??Advisor?? the simple routines to follow ... everyone knows it.. but neglect to follow... I would say this lockdown has brought upon us a forced up time to be with our families and our kids which we always want to have but are never ablemto have enough.. so now that we have it .. we should cherish it and enjoy it.. before we know this time will also pass .. because time and tide waits for none.. so take this forced time of being with your family positively and be happy... as a one of the comments below said its blessing im disguise.. I absolutely agree!! So change your prespective about seeing things .. you will be more happy and conteded with your life !!! ??
