Staying Connected

I recently heard someone say, “Stay in… but don’t sit still…” Great reminder. We are all having to stay in and as business leaders we must not sit still. We have to plan and to invest for the future. And, now is the time to also invest in each other.  While we are “apart” we are “together.”  

So, this post is just a shout out to say thank you to my friends and partners in the cable telecommunications industry. We are all in this together – and have been for years! What a great industry – where our success has been built on strong relationships and over $290B in broadband infrastructure. We consistently demonstrate the power of collaboration. The NCTA, SCTE, WICT, NCTC, CableLabs – all amazing organizations that have brought us together over the years.

Our hard work and investment in the future has paid off as we keep Americans connected during this crazy time.  So much to be proud of! 

And, special hats off to all the frontline people in our industry – the customer service representatives, the technicians, the network engineers and those working in the warehouses  (including those at Technetix). I know that you are all working long hours to keep companies, schools, hospitals, families and friends connected. 

Life as we know it is changing. Grateful I am a part of an industry that cares and continues to stay nimble – reacting to immediate change and investing in the future.
