Stay Wild, My Wild Child
Stay Wild, Wild Child
I don’t know if this subject is related to you or not, but if you know about this newfound information you can find yourself in a great position in life.
I am sure you have heard of ADHD “attention deficit hyperactivity disorder” or ADD “attention deficit disorder” and maybe someone in your family or friends have been diagnosed with it. And if you search for the meaning of ADHD, you will see the description below:
ADHD “attention deficit hyperactivity disorder”
A chronic condition includes attention difficulty, hyperactivity, and impulsiveness.
ADHD often begins in childhood and can persist into adulthood. It may contribute to low self-esteem, troubled relationships, and difficulty at school or work.
Symptoms include limited attention and hyperactivity.
Treatments include medication and talk therapy.
·???????Inattention: Short attention span for age (difficulty sustaining attention) and Difficulty listening to others. ...
·???????Impulsivity: Often interrupts others. ...
·???????Hyperactivity: Seems to be in constant motion; runs or climbs, at times with no apparent goal except motion.
?
This is where my debate stands and there are so many mistakes with the above definition. Yes, we observe the behaviors as such,
-???????but they are not “Chronic conditions” and the behaviors are part of the “Active Brain Types. (we see consistency because their neurons behave and are in the constant natural way they were born with. So as with all the other brain types, we see consistency in their behaviors and we don’t call them chronic conditions.)
-???????First of all, do not call ADHD behaviors “disorder” (The observations and all that you observe are a normal part of this specific “Brain Type” and that needs to be recognized fully.)
-???????Second is that all behaviors and what you observe as “Inattention, Impulsivity, hyperactivity” are very different from each other and you cannot put them all in the same category and call it ADHD.)
-???????While all these described behaviors belong to the “Active brain type category” not all have “Inattention, Impulsivity, hyperactivity” and one individual may have one or two or all, and that is because every active brain type has different temperaments.)
-???????My debate is that all “Brain Types” and their specific “Temperaments” must be recognized fully, so there will be no misunderstanding as to who the individual is and why they act and behave as such. You don’t treat every plant the same and you know exactly what type of seed they have, how to water them, and what type of soil or amount of light they need.
-???????This is where I stand to recognize every unique brain type and its unique temperaments, and foster the nature of the child while they are growing up through brain developmental stages which take place from prenatal to 29 years of age.
-???????Parenting methods need to be adjusted accordingly as well as teaching methods, and counseling has to be geared toward each unique brain type and their specific temperaments.
-???????And my final opposition is not to use medications without further notice and if you must, the treatments have to be looked at from all angles and the treatments must involve cognitive therapy, talk therapy, art therapy, and learning how to manage the “Active brain type” and their specific “Temperaments.”
Every individual is born with a unique brain type and that is a normal part of their genome. The physicality of the child is obvious as soon as the child is born, and you can observe the color of the eyes, hair, skin, and body type, but do you see their brain type?
?Now it is time to look into this newfound information and understand the individual’s unique brain types and not label the differences as a disorder or assume what is normal to us or society is normal for everyone. The concept of expecting everyone to behave in a certain way is wrong, and that is why many parents think what worked for me would work for my child not knowing that you have a different brain type and your child has a different brain type, and the way you understand things is way different from your child, friends, co-workers, and relatives. The concept of wanting everyone to think like us is completely wrong, and that is why many relationships fall apart because we expect our partners to act or behave like us. The concept of teaching the same things and wanting everyone to understand everything, in the same way, is completely wrong. Every person is different and everyone has a unique brain type and temperaments, and that is why everyone perceives the outside world according to their brain type and feels things, and shows emotional reactions according to their unique "temperaments."
The brain types can be recognized by the “Speed of Neurons” and the speed affects the neuro-connectivity, as the result, the data transmitting has a unique pattern that belongs to each unique brain type.
The “Speed of Neurons” varies from slow to fast and somewhere in between, and that is how you can recognize each unique brain type.
This is where the fascinating part starts, and it is when you get to know these neurons, their behaviors, characteristics, and traits. Then you will know how this brain works, why they think the way they do, and how the decision-making process takes place, and that is why you observe behaviors as such.
As the speed of neurons changes, they leave a certain pattern that belongs to each particular brain type, and you can follow their “Thought pattern” and observe the actions and reactions that one would follow.
I have chosen the name for each brain type according to their traits and characteristics which are consistent during the lifespan, and the speed does not change according to the genomes that you were born with, however, you can learn to understand how they are and manipulate neurons to lead the way however you wish it, and to get the wanted result. Keep in mind that neurons are always going to follow how they are and what they were born with and they will sense things just as they are, and they move and show reactions just as they are. That is why we all sense things differently and feel things differently, and show emotional reactions differently.
The brain types do not change with time, but they get better or worst according to environmental exposures. Every brain type can be damaged if they are not in the right environment, and for sure we will encounter many psychological problems arise due to not knowing the core of each person which are their unique “Brain Type” and “Temperaments.”
Each brain type must be nurtured accordingly during brain developmental stages to reach healthy blossoming years cognitively, socially, physically, and mentally. The BDS “Brain Developmental Stages” start from the pre-natal age, where neurons form their initial roots, and they keep growing through 29 years of age when they can fully blossom.
There are a couple of facts that need to be considered while you get to know each unique brain type, and those are that; - there is a percentage within each brain type category, - there is a degree of strength or sensitivities within each category, - and the categories share some percentages of neighboring traits and characteristics.
Meaning:
- There is a percentage within each brain type category, (For example: no matter what brain type you belong to, the spectrum and percentages of traits vary within the same category.) (if you belong to a rose family, there are still millions of roses and the variety of roses, and even within the same category each rose is unique.)
- There is a degree of strength or sensitivities within each category, (Every brain type has its unique strength within the category, and sensitivities vary within each category.)
- The categories share some percentages of neighboring genomes. (Your traits and characteristics will be dominant in one category, but everyone shares some traits within the neighboring brain type category.) For example; if your neurons move faster and you belong to the “Active Brain Type” you may be 80% active and 15% creative and 5% structured or any combinations and percentages, and for sure every person has different percentages in each category.
Going back to recognizing the brain type there are 3 major brain types, followed by 4 brain types that are combinations of these 3, and every brain type has 4 major temperaments that make the total brain types 28 in total, with the difference that everyone carries specific degree and percentages of each trait and characteristics, and that is why you see people being so different and yet so similar.
But the good news is that when you recognize the 3 major “Brain type categories” and 4 major “Temperaments”, you can recognize all 28 major brain types.
Yes, these behaviors that you observe from ADHD should not be labeled as “disorder” and the actions and reactions to situations are a “normal and natural” part of the “Active Brain Types.”
?Following the “Speed of Neurons” are the first recognition of brain types, where the neurons that send signals at the faster rate belong to “Active Brain Types” and where neurons send signals at a slower pace belong to “Structured Brain Types” and where neurons send signals with medium speed belong to “Creative Brain Types.”
Every brain has its unique strengths in its traits and characteristics.

Today I like to talk about “Active Brain Types” and tell you to stay wild my wild child where this knowledge will set you free.
If you are born with an “Active brain type” your neurons send signals at a faster rate, and as a result, neurotransmitters send and connect data in their unique ways which are unique to you. Fast-moving neurons connect data fast and that is why you see yourself moving from one situation to another in a faster manner than others around you.
The outside world might be going too slow for you, and you want things to happen for now and at this time and not later, you may not have the patience to wait for things to happen.
It is normal for you if you eat faster, talk or walk faster, show reactions in a faster manner, or cannot stand in a situation that is not interesting to you and want to move into an activity that you are interested to do.
These behaviors are a normal part of your brain type, and you only need to observe your timing and adjust well to circumstances if you wish at any time or matter. You don’t need to change yourself, and other brain types don’t need to change themselves, and what we need to do is to understand each brain type and see where we stand as individuals and within groups among all.
You cannot change any brain type to be another type, and that is why I am fully against using medicines and drugs that would numb the mind and have side effects on neurons. Using drugs to manipulate neurons have side effects in which neurons would lose their elasticity and after a while, they deteriorate and you would lose your thinking faculty and making decisions. That is also the reason that drug users become incapable of making decisions in their life, and if neurons get damaged you lose your decision-making process.
I only believe in using medicine when there is a physiological problem or one is in danger of harming oneself or others, and even that treatment must be combined with cognitive therapy. ?Cognitive therapy includes all aspects of one’s life which involves, creativity, talking, walking, dance, music, exercise, social gatherings and connections, well-balanced nutrition, and balancing one’s life in all areas.
I believe in understanding brain types and nurturing and fostering the brain and temperaments accordingly. You may ask what temperaments are and how temperaments are connected to brain types. I can give you an example of a walnut, and what you see inside is the “Brain Type” and the shell is the “Temperaments.” The neurons that are in charge of everything within the seed have the responsibilities of the brain connecting everything, and the neurons that are in charge of sensing environmental exposures are “Temperaments.” Your sensory sensations “Feel” things which are monitored by your “Temperaments” ?and that is where your “Emotions” come into play it's part and you show emotional reactions. ?
Your “Temperaments” are part of your survival mechanism, and they sense things from your environment and send signals to your brain and they both your “Brain and feelings” come together to make decisions.
There are 4 major “Temperaments” and they are sensing things such as “to accept or not accept” the incoming data, and what type of response they show as “to take actions or not.”
The temperaments of “to accept or not accept” split into being “Agreeable or dis-agreeable” and thereafter choosing one or the other and something in between your neurons decide “to take actions or not” and if your neurons are slow to take actions they stand on the “calmer” side of temperaments, and the faster moving neurons stand on the “hyper” side of the equation.
That is why some “Active brain types” are “Inactive,” some are “Hyperactive” and some are somewhere in between and they are all due to having different temperaments.
Having “Calm Temperaments” does not mean that an individual is a calm person, and getting upset or angry in situations is completely different, this only means that neurons move gradually and neurons take their time to make assessments before they take any actions. Individuals with “Calm temperaments” tend to be observed as being an introvert or having shy behaviors. That is why they freeze if they face something off-guard, or feel high anxiety if they are in a new or unknown situation. It is all because their neurons take their time to move into taking action and they must pause and make assessments. This is what parents and educators need to realize and teach or direct the individual with patience with the techniques and methods for them to learn and move their actions and not get stuck in situations.
The ones who have “Hyper Temperaments” means that their neurons move faster and they jump into actions, and as the result, you will observe the person be more talkative, more sociable, and an extrovert.
All brain types can have either “Agreeable or disagreeable” temperaments, and be an introvert or extroverts where neurons act in a “Calm or Hyper” manner.
But as for you or anyone you know that has an “Active Brain Type” or “Hyper Temperaments” please know that this is a normal and natural part of your genomes that you were born with.
Stay wild my wild child you cannot change your brain type or your temperaments and it is time for everyone including you to understand all aspects of this unique brain type and their unique temperaments and foster the true nature of the child fully.
The educational system must change and adjust its teaching methods to cater to this child, as well as parenting skills, and counseling methods.
The way you communicate with this child is very much different than another brain type.
The active brain type cannot sit in the classroom for more than 10-15 minutes and depending on the degree and the percentages of the (neurons and their speed) they lose attention or they must get up or walk around or do some physical activity if you want them to stick around.
Your parents must understand your brain type and if you want to finish your food fast and move on to some other physical activities, you are allowed.
Teachers must understand that your brain works this way and they need to polish their teaching methods to cater to your brain type and not you change yourself to the system. You learn differently as well as other brain types. For example; you learn better if the reading materials are in bullet point and short format. You learn better with hands-on projects, videos, talk, or anything that you can get involved actively physically and mentally.
You don’t have to change the entire school to foster the ”Active brain type” or numb their mind with medicine to make neurons move slower and they can sit longer in the classroom, and just a couple of simple adjustments can make a huge difference. For example; assign the “physical activity classes” in the morning for the “Hyperactive brain types” and theoretical classes in the afternoon, this way the neurons had time to calm down, and they can sit down and pay attention and concentrate for longer periods. Teach for 15 minutes and get the active brain types involved with hands-on projects for the rest of the remaining class. Keep in mind that the “active brain type” still needs to move around, and if they have to sit down and concentrate, allow them to chew gum, or have a gadget in their hands to move, and encourage them to write while listening to the lectures to keep their concentrations on the subject matter. Ask them questions, tell them to get up and write on the board, assign them to do something around the classroom, or send them to fetch a book from the library, and try to keep them actively busy. Combine the reading materials with short assignments, allow them to feel flexible, and let them move around even if it is even for a short time, and then they can sit back down to listen to the lectures. There are many other teaching methods available for teachers and parents to help the active brain types to concentrate and learn better.
Keep in mind that “Active brain type” with “Hyper” temperaments are extroverts, while the ones with “Calm” temperaments are introverts. The “active brain type with hyper temperaments” both have fast-moving neurons and there is no struggle between the “thinking pattern” and “feelings” which are monitored by sensory sensations and the temperaments. However, the “active brain type with calm temperaments” are in a constant struggle with themselves where “thinking patterns” move fast and they want to do something and their “calm temperaments” would hold them back and they resist taking actions, or they need more time to think and move.
This is where parents and educators need to know how to work with each different temperaments and help the child to understand themselves better and learn life management skills to manage their minds and emotions.
When the brain type and temperaments are similar, the neurons move at the same level of speed, then your actions move with ease, but if your brain and temperaments are on the opposite side of the spectrum you will see resistance in your life and actions would be observed as struggles. However, if you are aware of your brain type and temperaments, you will understand where they stand, why you get stuck here or there in life, and how you can learn skills to manage your “thinking process” to get along with your “Actions.”
Every brain type has a breaking point or sensitivities, and by realizing your temperaments you can pinpoint your emotional reactions, your anxieties, why you get stuck in life, what is going to be beneficial for you, and what other things are not going to work for you.
The good news is that you can learn techniques and methods to manage all aspects of life toward success, joy, and happiness by understanding your unique brain type and temperaments.
Parents who don’t know about their child’s brain type will for sure cause some mental damage here or there and leave some damaging building blocks in one’s foundation even if they are the best parents, simply because they don’t know about the child's specific brain type and temperaments.
It is very typical for people to think of others the same way they think of themselves and treat others the way they think they want to be treated, but this is an old concept and it is very wrong. We must understand each other fully and scientifically and treat each other just as the person is and not want them to think or behave like us.
We human beings can jump into a brighter future for us all where every individual is understood fully and we can recognize their “thinking patterns” and “behaviors” and value their strengths and abilities.
By understanding an individual’s “Brain Type” and “Temperaments” we can reduce psychological problems by 90% and foster cognitive enhancement and reach mental health and wellness by 99%.
This is my wish and may every child have parents and people around them that can foster their true nature and provide a healthy environment for them to have a chance and reach full blossoming years in life.
