Stay Safe - Maintain Social Distance, Sanitize and Work From Home!

Dear Tenants,

Over the last few days, you must be overwhelmed with news on Corona-Virus (COVID-19) which has impacted every nation and Industry across the globe. We are extremely grateful to our Honourable Prime Minister for reinforcing the need to be safe and cautious. At YourOwnRoom, Tenant and Owners safety is of utmost importance to us. We urge all our tenants to follow the below points so that you and your dear ones can be safe.

SANITIZE THE LIVING AREAS

To ensure the safety of all the people residing under YourOwnRoom, we encourage our tenants to make sure to pay special attention to cleaning frequently touched surfaces in common areas. Frequently contacted items, such as drinking fountains, faucet handles, door hardware, push plates and light switches, and elevator buttons are to be wiped down regularly with cleaners. Ensure garbage is segregated and disposed on a daily basis as per society and municipal rules. You are advised to not limit the cleaning to only your rooms but extend it to the entire apartment especially the kitchen and dining/ drawing area.

MAINTAIN SOCIAL DISTANCE

Besides increasing sanitary measures and having a building-wide plan in place, it might also be a good idea to temporarily suspend social gatherings, such as meet and greets, apartment complex meetings, inviting guests home or other activities in the building that require people to gather. Stay at least six feet away from other people in public. Do not treat your apartment or house as a venue to social gatherings or party. Ensure you do not have any overnight visitors. If you notice any of your flat mate violating the same,. Please alert us.

ASK FOR NO CONTACT DELIVERY 

We advise all our tenants at YourOwnRoom if they place an order for essential items, make sure you opt for No contact Delivery. Ask the delivery partner to leave your order at your doorsteps.  Though online ordering apps like Amazon, Zomato, Swiggy etc. are taking all the possible steps to ensure safety of their customers and delivery partners.  

WORK FROM HOME

At YourOwnRoom we advise all owners and tenants to work from home. All our properties have nice spacious bedrooms with good furniture. You can also use common areas like drawing room and dining room to work.

WASH YOUR HANDS FREQUENTLY

You’ve heard it a million times by now, and you’ll hear it a million more, but the best way to lower your risk of contracting Covid-19 (or pass it on to someone else) is to wash your hands after you cough, sneeze, touch your face, use the restroom, or are about to leave one place for another. You should wash your hands when you leave and return from the grocery store, for instance.
