Stay Hungry. Stay Foolish.

Stay Hungry. Stay Foolish.

Life can get us down, but we can pick ourselves back up. There are times when we understand and times when we simply have to trust that some things happen for reason. We must learn and not be limited by the experiences of our lives. Anything is possible if we are willing to persevere.

I failed in the subject of the English thrice during my studies of Charted Accountancy. I couldn’t find placement in big four audit firms of Chartered Accountancy. During my articles, I worked for the first ten months at Rs.1500 ($10) per month. I attempted around eighty-two exams and failed in twenty-one exams during my various professional qualifications studies. My life has certainly seen its fair share of ups and downs thus far. But I hope my failures are out-shadowed by my successes.

The truth is that our finest moments are most likely to occur when we are feeling deeply uncomfortable, unhappy, or unfulfilled. For it is only in such moments, propelled by our discomfort, that we are likely to step out of our ruts and start searching for different ways or truer answers. With the right mentality, problems drive us, they force us to find the opportunity for growth in the experience, to ask ourselves the question; where to from here?

Life is like a dot game we have no idea about these dots. Every failure or success are like dots. Many people fail because they think that this is the end. But life is all about to move on to the next dot. Again you got a failure, move on, success, move on. Until you reach your last dot. All we have to do to collect those dots and one day when we look at these dots we will see a beautiful painting of our life.

Life is a great big canvas; throw all the paint you can at it. ~Danny Kaye

Our days are our life in miniature. As we live your hours, so we create our years. As we live our days, so we craft our life. What we do today is creating our future. The words we speak, the thoughts we think, the food we eat and the actions we take are defining our destiny—shaping who we are becoming and what our life will stand for. Small choices lead to giant consequences—over time. There’s no such thing as an unimportant day.

Each one of us is called to greatness. Each one of us has an exquisite power within us. Each one of us can have a significant impact on the world around us—if we so choose. The best among us are not more gifted than the rest. They just take little steps each day as they march toward their biggest life. And the days slip into weeks, the weeks into months and before they know it, they arrive at a place called Extraordinary.

“You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something — your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.”
