STAY FOCUSED

Just want to share a broadcast I copied from one of my contacts. I find this content interesting and I hope it will be interesting to you.

On my way home from church on a certain Sunday afternoon, I found myself seated beside this attractive young lady. It didn't take me more than 30 seconds to break the ice... We got talking and as our conversation began to get really interesting, she looked up at the cab driver and said "o wa o" meaning "am alighting here" to my displeasure, the cab came to a halt and she alighted, I was half way out of the cab before I realized "this is not my bus stop"!

I sat back down and waved to her, she smiled and waved back. As I replayed the event of that day in my mind, I realised that the reason why many people don't get to their destination in life is because they get so attached to someone who's not going their direction. They simply missed their bus stop!

The conversation was spontaneous, I was attracted, there was chemistry but we had different BUS STOP. It would have been stupid of me to jump out the cab with her when she did because that was not my own bus stop! But isn't that what we do most of the times? We meet this wonderful person, they treat us nice, they bring out the best in us, we fall in love and suddenly they get to their own bus stop and we are faced with a dilemma: To forfeit our destination and go with this wonderful person or to wave them goodbye and continue the journey to our destination . Unfortunately, most people will choose the former!

I know you love her. He is a nice guy. You wish he/she is yours but if you are not going the same way.... Just wave. Amos 3:3
