Financing Solutions for Climate Tech Start-up
Together with Bill Gates, Federal Minister Dr Robert Habeck, and our CEO Prof Dr Helmut Sch?nenberger, German climate tech start-ups and foundations discussed how to close financing gaps for sustainable growth companies.
The Foundation Roundtable was organized by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection with the Energy Resilience Leadership Group - a strategic initiative of Breakthrough Energy, Siemens Energy, BMW Foundation, and UnternehmerTUM. It provided an excellent opportunity for a transatlantic exchange of experiences and for joining forces to jointly promote scalable entrepreneurial solutions for the energy transition. Liquid Manure - the Gold of Agriculture?
‘Precision farming’ is a current trend in the agricultural sector. Satellite maps are used to determine the nutrient requirements of individual areas of the fields in order to maximize yields. However, in order to achieve this goal, it must also be clear how many nutrients are contained in the various fertilizers.
The start-up IONSELECT's idea is to determine nutrients in manure in order to make agriculture more sustainable and profitable through technology.

More Spin-offs from German Universities
Under the title ‘IP Transfer 3.0: Spin-offs from science’, we talk to the Federal Minister of Education and Research, Bettina Stark-Watzinger, about the topic of IP transfer and the federal government's start-up strategy.
In addition, three deep tech start-ups will pitch their ideas for the future. The event is aimed at students, scientists, founders, and anyone interested in the latest insights into sciencepreneurship.
