I cannot believe it is June already, next month my son turns 2 and time is flying by. This is the reason my newsletter might be slightly late, but I thank you for subscribing.

London Calling!

Last week we had the first Law Firm Ambition conference, this was very well attended with plenty of great speakers. It was great to see old and new faces, this was my first trip back to the 'Big Smoke' in almost 2 years. It didn't disappoint. To know who and what was discussed view my post here.

Social Media Updates

Changes galore for a number of social media platforms, here are my quick updates. Some helpful some not so much.

• LinkedIn will be rolling out a Direct Message button on company pages, this will happen over the next few weeks/months. You need to have a plan in place to ensure you can respond to any inbound leads or messages.
• Instagram now allows for up to 5 website links for the professional bio, this might replace LinkTree but law firms have multiple links that might exceed the maximum 5 links.
• Facebook (Meta) might be releasing a Twitter alternative, a text-based platform. Will this rival Elon Musk, who knows? But it will only allow text updates with no images. To access it you will need an Instagram account.
• Twitter - Is it down? Maybe, a number of accounts have reported their tweets are not being shared. This could be down to almost half of Twitter's developers who are no longer there. I wonder if Elon is spinning too many plates.
• Tik Tok - A recent study of 93,895 adults in 46 countries discovered that while some people tend to simply scroll past news, others deliberately avoid topics that could "bring down" their mood or increase anxiety. Additionally, it determined that more young people are using the popular social media app. Does your law firm use Tik Tok?

Hello GA4, goodbye Universal Analytics

You have until the 30th of June to get your GA4 setup, then Google will set one up for you. The old Google Univeral Analytics will stop working from the 1st of July however you will still have access to historical data. If you haven't done this yet, I suggest you do it now before it's too late.

LinkedIn Legal #Tags New Release

Later this month I will be releasing my updated list of the top trending legal #tags for LinkedIn and Instagram. If you are making up your own #tags or scatter gunning them into your posts, this might not be very effective. The time for guessing is over, you can now have the top 120+ performing #Tags for LinkedIn. This is an extensive list of keywords researched and placed in order of the number of followers. The list covers the following areas:

• Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence
