Statistic Still Says COVID Booster Shots are in Trouble (Updated Data after a Year of Booster Availability)

Sometimes a single statistic reveals something important. As of April 4, 2022 only 45% of those fully vaccinated (US) have chosen to receive a COVID booster shot. Boosters have been available since Sept. 21, 2021. 55% of those who were previously fully vaccinated have not taken a booster. UPDATES: As of June 12, 2022 53% and as of Sept. 21, 2022 51.3% of those who were fully vaccinated have not taken a booster indicating booster acceptance issues are strongly persistent. The same conclusion applies as in the earlier version of this post, the previously most COVID vaccine compliant have not been and remain not that compliant going forward. The booster campaign, on a high level statistical basis, appears to have effectively run it's course.
