The Station Foundation for Entrepreneurship and the UK-based arts organization,?Arts Canteen , announces a partnership that will allow them to implement and support The Station's creative programs for emerging and professional artists, as well as the Iraqi cultural movement.?

For the last 10 years, Arts Canteen has been empowering artists from the Arab world and beyond to tell their own stories, change perceptions, and tackle the significant issues in today’s world.

“We are thrilled to be collaborating with The Station to bring Arab Women artists from Iraq and the United Kingdom together, as well as to support The Station's fantastic ongoing work to develop emerging creative leaders in Iraq. The lifeblood of Arts Canteen is discovering and supporting the next generation of Arab artists and creative talent. Through this collaboration, the expertise and knowledge of both organizations and their communities will not only strengthen Iraqi creatives, but will also highlight real innovations and creativity in Iraq through The Station's creativeSpaces.?

About The Station Foundation for Entrepreneurship

The Station Foundation for Entrepreneurship is one of Iraq’s lead co-working spaces, and Baghdad’s first co-working space. First established in 2018, as an independent, non-governmental, and non-profit organization, it became the cornerstone for Iraqi youth with fresh and inventive ideas to set a first foot into the business world and entrepreneurial projects.?

UK-based arts organization founded in 2010 showcases exceptional artists from the Arab world and its neighbors. They support and promote the work of Arab artists covering music, theatre, dance, literature, and visual arts, winner of the 2017 Arab British Centre Award for Culture. The company has delivered over 300 arts events at venues such as Royal Court, Southbank Centre, Rich Mix (London), De Central (Belgium), and Dubai Opera (United Arab Emirates). Our flagship projects include the annual festival "Arab Women Artists Now", "Arabs Are Not Funny", and "Arab Christmas".
