One of the biggest mistakes I see men doing at the gym is static stretching during workouts

They hit a set of leg curls and then they hold one leg and start to stretch it.

It’s a position where you stand, sit or lie still and hold a single position for a period of time.

It may feel good to get a stretch or relief in that moment, but your muscles don’t like that.

A May 2023 study shows that those who did static stretching in between their sets had 40-50% less muscle growth for the trained muscle.

That’s a big loss in ROI if you think about it.

It’s why I’m a big believer that what you DON’T do during workouts is more important than what you do.

You can have the perfect workout plan outlined for you.

Yet if you make a few mistakes that most men fall into, then you cut a big piece of your ROI away.

You want to maximize your time during your workouts and knowing what to avoid pays bigger returns than you may imagine.
