THE MAIA-HOME SERIES

The domestic MAIA heat recovery units are highly efficient, specially designed for home use, include a counterflow exchanger, and have an efficiency of over 86%. They are assembled with vertical or horizontal outlets in an extruded aluminum structure with polyamide corners, which gives them great resistance and high watertightness. They have 18mm thermal-acoustic insulation made of rock wool, with 90 Kg/m3 density. All the side panels are removable and accessible to ease maintenance. They include filters F7 for impulsion and G4 for return.

Line

Composed of 8 models of different configurations, with nominal flow rates of 180 m3/h to 350 m3/h, serving the needs of domestic clients. Connections to the ducts are made vertically or horizontally, depending on the configuration, allowing for a perfect adaptation to small spaces, with a design that optimises its dimensions.

Fans

This line’s fans are plug-fans, equipped with an EC motor with an IP-54 integrated electronic protection, making it very low in consumption, less noisy, and therefore very efficient.

Thermic Bypass

After switching on the equipment and checking the status of the gateway, the bypass will be closed for 30 minutes. The bypass valve is controlled by two relay outputs, which open and close independently and quickly in approximately 1 minute.

Antifreeze

After activation, the anti-freeze function is blocked for the first 5 minutes and will be activated when the outside air inlet temperature is below 3°C and there has been no defrost cycle in the previous 60 minutes. While the antifreeze mode is active, the bypass damper remains open.

Control

The unit is supplied with a control button for internal installation, designed to control the 3 fan speeds, and which communicates wirelessly with the controller of the recovery unit, which sets the determined speed and sends a led status, confirming the communication was correct. It has free-heating and free-cooling functions, which are used to heat or cool the room using the energy of the outdoor air if the return and outdoor temperatures permit.
