Stater Bros. Charities Donates Over $900,000 to City of Hope to Support Children with Cancer

SAN BERNARDINO – July 16, 2024 – On Tuesday, June 25, Stater Bros Charities presented a check for $906,527 to the City of Hope from their Kids 4 Hope fundraising campaign. From May 1 through May 12, 2024, all Stater Bros. Market's locations collectively gathered over $900,00 in donations from generous customers and teammates to support pediatric cancer treatment and education programs at City of Hope.

Present at the check presentation were representatives from City of Hope, Stater Bros. Charities, and Stater Bros. Markets to recognize Falcon Ridge in Fontana, CA as the chain's top contributor this year. Store Manager Israel Martinez, Assistant Store Manager Armando Gayton, and teammates set a new single-store record of $37,501 during the campaign period.

Kids 4 Hope funding ensures that affected children and their families can have access to services and resources that help them throughout their cancer journey. Funds support pediatric cancer treatment and education programs at City of Hope such as Child Life Services, Patient Navigation, Academic Advocacy, and Transportation Assistance.

Over the four years that Stater Bros. Markets and Stater Bros. Charities have supported Kids 4 Hope, a total of $2.8 million has been donated to City of Hope. This year wielding a record donation amount over the lifetime of this campaign.
