Statements Based on Assumptions are Offensive, and Questions Founded on Interest and Delivered with Curiosity are Empowering
The gift of the human mind is to be able to discern between good and bad. From the observer’s point of view their judgement is true as it has been accurate before; they yield more power than they know. On the contrary point of view, their perspective has one major flaw in it – it has half the data. No one can read minds and therefore statements based on assumptions are offensive. To be able to discern between good or bad is dependent upon who is discerning. The judge says good and their defendant exclaims bad. This discernment is wholly subjective meaning the assumption is founded on the judge and their past experience, intuition and senses are the culprit at hand. The only way to the objective truth is simply to ask. How come this is not the natural state of man and woman? Many reasons are culpable but the surest marker for proof would be the emotional rank of the subject – our judge. Are they quick to assume? If so that tells much of their own autobiography. Have they been scorned? Maybe. Are they afraid? Definitely. Can they forget? Absolutely not. Is there hope to overcome? Yes! That is their task and meaning for pursuit. Questions founded on interest and delivered with curiosity are empowering but to work, their subject must work. To make order rather than cause chaos they must just let go!
