Exclusive Content Piece: A Statement From Our CEO??

Our CEO, Jacek Olczak , recently gave a speech on the importance of addressing existing smoking rates around the world, and the critical action required to accelerate change.??

In his speech, Jacek acknowledged the many issues we must tackle to address smoking. He called for governments, businesses, and individuals to work together to reduce smoking rates faster and consider other countries that are adopting a harm reduction mentality.?

Our Smoke-free Future in Numbers?

In 2016, we announced our commitment to delivering a #smokefree future. Fast-forward to 2023 and our Q2 2023 results reveal our continuing progress:?

• 35.4% of our total net revenues for the quarter came from smoke-free products.?
• 19.4 million (72%) adults have switched to our heated tobacco product (IQOS) and stopped smoking.?
• Our smoke-free products are now available in 80 markets. ?
• Since 2008, PMI has invested more than USD 10.5 billion to develop, scientifically substantiate, and commercialize innovative smoke-free products (as of December 31, 2022).?

We are rapidly evolving, and with it, comes a number of new technologies and products that are being developed to help every adult smoker move away from cigarettes.??

Our goal to become a majority smoke-free company by 2025 remains intact. And we continue to get closer and closer ???
