Caldor Fire with thousands of acres burned and homes destroyed, as this fire continues to march throughout El Dorado, Amador and Alpine Counties with a real threat to South Lake Tahoe due to Red Flag Warnings and rough terrain. Fire suppression efforts and law enforcement mutual aid continues to ensure the fire is “knocked down” and law enforcement mutual aid augments local Sheriff and Police to protect life and property.
