State of SEO In 2024, Gartner Predicts… and Online Marketing
Welcome to 2024. Gartner's out with their top strategic predictions.?It's no surprise that AI features in at least half.
Gartner also has marketing predictions for 2024.?I was fascinated by the authenticity prediction (pull quote below). We're starting to see this as clients start to contend with the impact of AI enhanced trolling, fake stories, etc. on their reputations.???
By 2026, 60% of CMOs will adopt measures such as content authenticity technology, enhanced monitoring, and brand-endorsed user-generated content to protect their brands from widespread deception unleashed by GenAI.
Moz has an excellent roundup of 2024 SEO predictions.?In addition to many AI viewpoints, there's an expectation that?EEAT?(Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness)?will become even more important.?
