State of Origin preview & introducing our NRL ChatBot

It's that time of the year once again - Game 1 of State of Origin 2024 gets underway tonight and we couldn't be more excited at Wicky!

First, a big announcement - we're launching a rugby league try scorer chatbot! It's all set to answer your try scoring questions about the players involved in tonight's State of Origin clash - and we've got a cricket version coming soon!

Plus, we've previewed the Blues v Maroons game and analysed the matchups on each side of the field. With the T20 World Cup underway, there's also no better time to check out our Men's T20 Portal, now with player stats from four new leagues added to the page.

Introducing?AskWicky - our NRL Try Scorer ChatBot!

Just in time for Game 1 of State of Origin, we're launching our AskWicky, our try scorer chatbot! For its big debut, we've loaded it up for New South Wales v Queensland tonight - and we're aiming to channel this momentum into the remainder of the NRL season.

Users can ask the chatbot their questions about try scorers or choose from the sample queries we've provided. We'll be improving the chatbot over the course of the rest of the season, so any feedback is welcome.

From who's playing on which side to POTM contenders, we cover it all in our Origin Game 1 preview!

Our preview article for Game 1 State of Origin 2024 is live on wicky.ai ! We've looked at the Blues v Maroons encounter tonight at Accor Stadium from numerous angles, covering try scorers, player of the match contenders plus left v right edge analysis.

New South Wales are 1-0 up in the series after an excellent performance in Game 1 and our forthcoming preview dives into some numbers and team news that might point to a better day out for Queensland in Game 2.

The T20 World Cup is underway - dive into player stats with our Men's T20 Portal!

It's a busy year in T20 cricket with the usual annual diet of T20 leagues either side of the ongoing World Cup in the West Indies and USA. With that in mind, there's no better time to check out our Men's T20 Portal, which has been updated to include player stats from four new competitions - the IPL, PSL, Major League Cricket and the T20 Blast.

The World Cup will be followed by the second season of Major League Cricket, one of three new major leagues launched in 2023 along with the SA20 and ILT20. You can find batting & bowling numbers for all three competitions on our Portal, not to mention stats from the T20 Blast as well, whose 2024 season is ongoing.
