AI MEXICO connects businesses and individuals to opportunities in the Latin American AI space. Creating these connections is part of the organization's larger mission to use AI to eliminate humanity's biggest problems and create a new era of wellbeing for the world.

To achieve these goals, the organization is dedicated to becoming the de facto authority in Latin America for all things AI, and a major force in the global action pushing for responsible AI; one that makes the well-being of our communities a top priority.

AI MEXICO has a strong global presence and sphere of influence. In the first year, the organization established a community of over 600 members in 8 countries and partnerships with businesses around the world. AI MEXICO is targeting the expansion of the community to over 100,000 people and $1B in business opportunities by the end of 2025.

This is the first Meetup we had in Ensenada, Mexico in June of 2019 at home. Carlos Cabrera, Ph.D. candidate at UABC and veteran computer scientists at CICESE Research Center gave an inspiring presentation to the 30 people that showed up. (click on the image to see more)

I was also remembering the days before TensorFlow. Coded all in C, or when I heard there was something called the Stuttgart Neural Network Simulator (SNNS) I felt like a "sell-out," but really exploited being able to design a NN, and automatically dump code in C! Then came a Java version which really easy to install and use anywhere. This was the JNNS. This felt more like a "sell-out." Do you know what is really bad? I looked for the SNNS and I found this: https://www.ra.cs.uni-tuebingen.de/SNNS/welcome.html Tey recommend you use Tensorflow :/
