1. Apply to Founder Gym by March 25!
Founder Gym is an online program that trains underrepresented founders on how to raise money to scale their tech startups. Via 6-week online cohorts, founders complete structured exercises and receive expert training from seasoned investors and funded-founders. No equity is taken, but there is a fee (~$2000) to participate, FYI. They have pre-seed and seed cohorts which run from April 22-May 31. Learn more and apply here.
2. Join the Female Founder Collective!
The Female Founder Collective is a network of businesses led by women, supporting women. Visit the website and apply here. It's worth adding that the Collective also recently announced that they will be working with Visa's She's Next Initiative, so there may be more opportunities to come by being part of the Collective.
3. Apply to the Women Startup Challenge at Google by March 28!
Apply for a chance to pitch investors and receive a $50,000 cash grant (equity free), pro-bono services, and a mentoring day at TechStars. Startups in North America with at least one woman co-founder and who have raised no more than $2.2 million are eligible. Learn more and apply here.
4. Apply to MassChallenge by March 13!
The MassChallenge accelerator program in Boston gives startups access to mentors, corporations, and workshops at zero cost and for zero equity. They have co-working space and give startups the opportunity to win a portion of more than $2 million in cash prizes. They are targeting startups who have raised less than $500K in equity-based funding and generated less than $1 million in revenue. They also have programs in other locations like Texas and Rhode Island as well as in HealthTech and Fintech verticals, so check out the site to decide if any of the offerings are right for you. 5. Attention diverse founders! Apply to pitch on Shark Tank!
Shark Tank is casting for diverse entrepreneurs for their 11th Season! Learn more and apply here.
6. Apply to the Women Entrepreneurs Boot Camp (WEB) by March 29!
The 4th Annual Women Entrepreneurs Boot Camp (WEB) run by Lynn Loacker and her team at Davis Wright Tremaine will be held on April 29. Spend the day with VCs, business executives and other experts who will provide the insights you need to get from Seed to Series A. They are looking for female founders who have raised a seed round, are generating revenue, and have a full-time team. Learn more and apply here.
7. Enter the FedEx Small Business Grant Contest by March 25!
The FedEx Small Business Grant Contest recognizes and rewards unique small businesses with grants up to $50,000. Learn more and enter here. Note that the public voting period for the contest is already underway, so you may want to apply as soon as possible before the deadline!
