StartUp your Marketing: Interview with the StartUp Marketing Manager
What is the everyday life of a marketing manager like? What is the daily challenge in a start-up?
Find out about this and more in today's article with marketing manager Carolin Drempetic!
Q1: What are your three core tasks?
As a marketing manager at a start-up, I have a wide variety of tasks, be it trade fair preparation, social media or print products. Every day I learn new things and every day holds new tasks. However, content production is what keeps me most busy, on the one hand for our LinkedIn page and on the other hand for our YouTube channel. Another of my core tasks is marketing planning, which of course takes place in coordination with the team.
Q2: What do you like most about your job at Assemblio??
Working at Assemblio excites me every day. The working atmosphere in the team is warm, open-minded, and exchange-oriented. Every opinion is important and every opinion counts. There are new and challenging tasks waiting for me every day, where I can learn and grow, always with the support of the team that backs me up. I can clearly say: I love my job, not only because I like my tasks, but above all because of the working atmosphere and the people who welcomed me so warmly almost a year ago.

Q3: What are you looking forward to this year?
We have a lot planned for this year, which I will tell you about soon enough! But what I can already say and am really looking forward to is our booths at Automatica in Munich and Motek in Stuttgart in June and October of this year. Getting in touch with people directly and hearing their stories and opinions is what I value the most.
Q4: What tips do you have for start-up marketing enthusiasts?
Start-up marketing is work, often it means learning by doing and spontaneous reactions. Getting involved in things, trusting your own expertise and gut feeling, and being constantly present are things I can only recommend to anyone interested in start-up marketing!
