Deepfake: The next cyber threat!

Ms. Gaur, had been struck with fear, for a boy that she had found online, was now threatening her with lewd pictures of herself that she had never ever taken, and was now being blackmailed and extorted.

Hundreds of thousands like herself had been an innocent victim to a truly evil crime of deepfakes, one of the worst inventions to come out of the rapid development of AI, causing extortion of multiple crores, and as AI gets better, it is only bound to get worse.

Governments, including India, are recognizing the dangers of deepfake's, with concerns rising towards its threats, ranging from individual extortion to world leaders being impersonated for misinformation, and its high time that the world started to look into these purely evil ideas, and to put an end to them.
