From a market perspective, maybe it is a time to wait and watch. However, the question remains, should startups get into the business with exit as their sole goal?

I would say that the goal of exit is a good one, however, the company needs to focus on straightening their core proposition, product & market fit, systems, teams, short & long term plan, metrics, customer experience & problem resolution systems, customer acquisition / engagement / retention & related economics, customer communication and overall positioning in customer's mind, customer benefits, profitability & economic stability, experiments / learnings / failures (and the appetite to continuously run them), focus on new technologies & leveraging them for the business, amazing structure & company culture, infrastructure overall, adapting to market conditions as well as creating new favourable market conditions for your product / service, becoming a leading authority in the industry, creating a compelling vision for the future of the customers / business / teams in that order, enhancing employee's lives and organic development in the overall flow for long term success to happen.

At the end of the day, if the fundamentals are right then the outcomes also will be amazing at the right time, whether you are in entry or exit stage!
