Today, let's understand the #rules of #meal timings so that we can obtain maximum #nutrition." We want to eat #food that provides us with its complete #nutritional value.

Any meal should be #consumed within 48 minutes of being #cooked because its #nutritional value starts to diminish after that. After 24 hours, the meal becomes #STALE.

It is only in #India, out of all the countries in the world, where one can find hot and fresh bread (roti). In other countries, getting hot and fresh #ROTI is impossible. #Stale food is also not suitable for feeding animals."

While #eating, it is advisable to chew the #food thoroughly. By doing so, #saliva in the mouth mixes well with the food and aids in #digestion. #Chewing #food properly does not contribute to weight gain."

t is better to #prevent #diseases rather than treating them. Therefore, it is essential to digest the #food properly while eating. Only when the #food is #digested, it will be converted into #nutrients, and from those #nutrients, the body develops flesh, marrow, blood, stool, urine, semen, fat, and bones, which contribute to the body's #growth and development."

The digestive fire (#Jatharagni) is most active from sunrise until two and a half hours after sunrise, which means during this time, have a heavy meal, i.e., have lunch by 9:30 AM. Skip breakfast and have lunch directly."

Always #drink #water one hour before a #meal or one hour after a meal. Drinking #water during or immediately after a #meal is equivalent to consuming poison. As soon as food enters the mouth, the digestive fire is ignited in the stomach, which aids in the digestion of food. Drinking water immediately after eating extinguishes this #digestive fire, interrupting the process of #digestion. Consequently, the undigested food will sit in the stomach, leading to the formation of gas. This gas can cause various diseases, including acidity, hyperacidity, ulcers, peptic ulcers, haemorrhoids, and ultimately, the most severe disease, cancer.

The accumulation of bad cholesterol occurs due to the improper digestion of food, which can lead to issues such as #knee #pain and the risk of heart diseases."

Therefore, ensure a fixed mealtime and have your meal by 9:30 in the morning. Avoid the habit of snacking or eating small amounts frequently.

Always drink #water either one hour before or after a meal. Drink water while sitting on the ground, never while standing. Take small sips and drink water slowly. Avoid drinking water quickly in one go. By following these practices, you will maintain good #health and never have a fever.

The midday meal should be half the quantity of the morning meal. The #digestive fire (#Jatharagni) tends to decrease in intensity after midday. However, during sunset, the intensity of #Jatharagni increases, similar to how the brightness of a fading lamp increases before it extinguishes. Therefore, one should never have dinner at night. It is advisable to have a meal 40 minutes before the #sunset. After the sunset, only milk can be consumed.

After having breakfast or lunch, it is essential to take a rest of at least 20 minutes. During this rest period, if sleep comes, it should not be prevented. While digesting food, blood flows towards the stomach from all parts of the body, which leads to a feeling of laziness in the body. As a result, the brain seeks rest, which induces sleepiness.

After the evening meal, it is advisable not to rest immediately for at least 2 hours. Immediate sleep after eating can lead to conditions like heartburn and diabetes entering the body. After the evening meal, there is a cooling effect from the moon (Chandra), which reduces blood pressure during the night. Therefore, it is recommended to rest at least two hours after the evening meal. During these two hours, engage in some activity or take at least 1000 steps. Walking in the evening is more beneficial than walking in the morning.

Eating freshly ripened fruits prepared by nature in the morning is considered the best. It is recommended to consume fruits only after sunrise and before sunset.

All alkaline foods should be consumed after sunset, and acidic foods should be consumed before sunset. For example, foods with mild acidity and those that are juicy should be eaten before sunset.

Never consume items with very low or very high temperatures for the body, such as ice cream, etc.

Never try to lose weight through fasting or extreme dieting because it reduces the protein content in the body. This can lead to weight loss on one hand but can also increase joint pain on the other hand. You can reduce your food intake slightly, but avoid excessive restriction.

Once you have heated a meal and stored it in the refrigerator, avoid reheating it again. Try to ensure that the items taken out from the refrigerator are used after a gap of 48 minutes.

Always eat food while sitting on the ground, in a cross-legged position (#sukhasana). This allows the blood to remain in the abdomen, aiding in digestion. While eating, the food should be placed at a slightly elevated level from the ground. Eating food in a cross-legged position ensures that the stomach remains inside and does not protrude outward.

Every joint has synovial fluid for lubrication. The closer the joint is to the earth or influenced by gravitational force, the more beneficial it is for the body.

Never consume items that appear shiny or have a smooth texture, such as certain leafy greens, vegetables, fruits, or flowers. After obtaining such items, boil them in water with rock salt (sendha namak) added to it. This will reduce their toxicity to some extent.

Satisfaction of the mind is more important than satisfaction of the stomach in meals. Continuously consuming food without achieving mental #satisfaction can lead to the onset of mental illnesses after 10-12 years. Conditions such as depression start to manifest, and in such a state, a total of #27 different types of diseases can occur.

By eating nutritious food, eating on time, and following these rules, you will start seeing positive results within a week. You will automatically begin to move towards growth.
