Startup Business Models & Matrices
You successfully identified a pain point. You also build a great product that solves the pain point. But how do you make money?
Many founders have an "if we build, they will come" mentality. Sometimes, the product is over-engineered, so when they come, they're confused.
Sometimes, founders copy an existing business model, thinking it'll help adoption.
End of the day, you don't know what you don't know. And you can't measure what you don't know. So you can't improve what you can't measure.
I've always found it easier to define the business model by starting with the customer and working backward. Hopefully, these slides will help you. If they do, please share and do contribute to improving the same.
