Starting Your Spiritual Journey
Spirituality is accessible to everyone. It's found within
There is no permission needed
No classroom work or degree to be held
Its free and always available
It's an opportunity that brings with it hope, wonder and curiosity
It's a never-ending journey where you never know what's next, but you are not fearful to get there
It allows for new questions, bigger discussions and lots of growth
Not sure where to start?
First question that started my journey was the question, "How do you define spirituality?"
It was a question I never thought of. I only knew about religion. I thought that was the only path to God.?
When I started to define spirituality (which is individually defined), I realized we are so much more than what religion teaches us.
Spirituality can mean spending time in nature, meditating, prayer, gratitude, acts of kindness, yoga class, deep breathing or reading the bible. It can be all of the above or much more.
Spirituality opens the door to more possibilities?
It makes you think bigger
It makes things that we thought were impossible, possible
We realize we are all one including nature and animals.
There is no right or wrong spiritual definition or practice.
When we are spiritual, we are judgment free and open-minded
It's about what nurtures your inner self
It's what connects you to your higher self.
It's what brings peace
It's what keeps you in the present?
If you are ready to start the journey, start by defining spirituality.
