Our little team continues to grow - let's welcome Amber!
Please join us in extending a warm welcome to our new intern, Amber . With her enthusiasm and fresh perspective, she is poised to make a valuable addition to our team. Amber was also kind enough to share how she's feeling about the upcoming months of interning with the team:
With the next couple of months in mind, I am filled with a mixture of excitement and anticipation. formula D_'s multidisciplinary approach, blending design, education, and technology, intensifies this excitement. I'm ready to soak in every moment, to learn about the technicalities of the design process and also the art of storytelling through the interactive exhibits. The prospect of learning from seasoned professionals and contributing to projects that have the potential to reshape the way people engage with information is both thrilling and humbling.
As we welcome Amber, we also bid farewell to Pepijn , our former intern, who concluded his term with us in January. Pepijn's dedication and contributions were truly appreciated, and we wish him all the best in his future endeavours.
New work & exciting opportunities
In other news, we're thrilled to announce the successful completion of a significant project for our esteemed client, the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science . We had the privilege of customising an entirely new shark head for their exhibition on Sharks . This innovative addition aims to captivate and educate visitors about these prehistoric and mysterious ocean predators.
Turning our attention to the global stage, 2024 has kicked off with a bang as we've secured several exciting new projects spanning from Hawaii to South Dakota, Saudi Arabia, and South Africa. Each project presents unique challenges and opportunities, and we're eager to dive in and deliver exceptional results.

In addition to our project wins, we're excited to announce our participation in the upcoming American Alliance of Museums annual conference in Baltimore. Following the success of our attendance at the ASTC conference last year, we see this as an invaluable opportunity to connect with industry peers, gain insights, and showcase our latest innovations. We're eager to engage with the broader museum community and explore new possibilities for collaboration.
