Starting My Appreciation Tour

Now that I am retired I have a lot of time to do those things that are on my bucket list. It's not a long list but some items will take awhile to complete. And one will likely never complete.

The first item on the list is an easy one to describe but a bit challenging to execute: Drive to Deadhorse Alaska and swim in the Artic Ocean. The swim isn't the challenge, it's the drive as I plan on camping on my way there and back: 10k miles round trip in 6-8 weeks. More on that later.

The second is my 52 Books in 52 Weeks challenge. No, I'm not going to read 52 books in the next year, I am going to give away 52 books from my library to people that I hope will find value in them. More on that later too.

The final item on my bucket list is going to take awhile to complete: My Appreciation Tour. I will be very deliberate in acknowledging why each person that is on the tour is there, being very specific about what they have done for me that has enriched my life. Some of these acknowledgements will be in the form of a LinkedIn posts or blog posts, and others, hopefully, will be video blogs as I meet with people in person. We'll see how things emerge, but let's get started...

Don't keep all that wisdom to yourself Tom. Spread it around a little bit. ??
