Starting from scratch

Starting from scratch

Tamar Karchkhadze, Head of HRM Department

What were your first steps at Exadel?

It began nearly three years ago when the Georgian office was just getting off the ground with only about 15 employees. I joined the team as an HR Generalist. Starting from scratch was an exciting experience, and through hard work alongside the incredible Georgian and global team, we saw remarkable growth within the first few months.

Looking back, I'm filled with pride knowing that I played a part in shaping Exadel Georgia's journey in those early days.

What’s the key to establishing a successful corporate culture in an international company?

For me, the key is effective communication, especially when working remotely. Encouraging open dialogue and fostering transparency can bridge geographical gaps and cultivate a sense of unity. It's vital to embrace diversity, inclusivity, and respect for cultural differences. Adjusting management methods to suit different working styles is also crucial for building a united international corporate culture.

How do you feel about receiving the Golden Team Player Award, and what does it mean to you personally and professionally?

Personally, it fills me with overwhelming gratitude and joy. Professionally, it's a motivating reminder that I'm making a meaningful contribution to our collective success, and it inspires me to keep pushing forward with even more enthusiasm.

As a Golden Team Player, how do you manage to contribute to your team's success?

This honor comes with great responsibility. I find that open communication, empathy, and a willingness to lend a helping hand are key to fostering a positive team dynamic.?

I'm deeply grateful for the collaborative spirit within our team at Exadel Global. I strive to contribute by actively listening to my colleagues, offering support whenever needed, and leading by example with dedication and passion for our shared goals.

Recognition often comes from consistent effort. What habits or practices do you think contributed to your performance as a Head of the HRM Department?

Effective communication, empathy, strategic thinking, and continuous self-improvement have been essential contributors to my success. Embracing these habits has led to professional growth and contributed to my personal development, for which I'm truly grateful.

How has Exadel's Recognition Program shaped our work culture?

Exadel's Recognition Program has played a pivotal role in shaping our work culture into one that values and celebrates achievements. The program has fostered a sense of unity and appreciation among team members, motivating us to go above and beyond in our respective roles.

What advice would you give to fellow employees aiming for similar accomplishments?

I would emphasize the importance of embracing challenges with an open mind, self-trust, and a willingness to learn and grow. I believe that with dedication, resilience, and a supportive team behind you, anything is possible.
